DIY: At Home Spa Day


What's a better way to brighten up the mid-week blues than using a 'treat yourself' attitude and making your own spa treatments. So, get nice and relaxed to have the most luxurious time; making you feel perfect to pop on your bikini and flaunt it!

Big, bright eyes

Help yourself look bright as a button after the beginning of the week has taken its toll by using tea. Make yourself a cup of tea and leave it in the fridge to chill, then, dip cotton pads into the tea and leave on your eyes to soothe. The caffeine will help to calm any infalmmation and bring that spark back.


Smooth, supple skin

Using mashed up bananas (which contain vitamin E and A) can be a great way of soothing redness and moisturising your face. For the perfect combination, mix together your mashed bananas, cream, a tablespoon of honey, some flour and and tablespoon of water & leave for 5-10 minutes.


Sleek, shiny hair

For super shiny hair, the best thing to do is to create your own hair-mask using just a few cupboard ingredients… All you need is, 1 egg-yolk, 1/2 an avocado, a drizzle of olive oil, a tablespoon of mayonnaise and a small dollop of conditioner. This little mixture can work some magic after it’s left on for an hour or two! 



Refreshed, rejuvenated skin 

We all know how important an exfoliation is for our skin; never have dull or dry skin again with this natural mix. Simply mix together 1/2 a teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of raw sugar and some fresh lemon juice for the perfect DIY exfoliate. This is best used on the face, and smells amazing too, as well as being wonderfully natural.
