Bikini Destination: Tulum

Posted by Beth Fuller on

Recently Amour & Mer went location hunting to the serene beach destination on Mexico’s Caribbean coastline: Tulum. With some of the worlds most beautiful hotels, beach clubs and restaurants the small town offers some of the best places to see and we’ve selected the top five from our trip for you…

Coco Tulum

The ever coveted swings on the beach picture is taken by every girl and this breathtaking beach club. With a bar, music and sun lounges people come from everywhere to relax for the day.

Posada Margherita

Walking through the entrance to this beach club was one of our top tips from Tulum. The little path takes you through a garden filled with some of the best decor you've seen and mini bikini boutiques, candle shops, jewellery stores- it's a dream. This beach club has a restaurant that serves some amazing Italian food and the cutest beach beds.

Casa Malca

Further up the private beach this unbelievable hotel offers the best scene to spend your day alone or with friends. Casa Malca describes it as a 'home for thinkers and dreamers' which explains why some of the best from LA fly down to Mexico to experience staying at this hotel. Also, a photo on the swinging couch at the entrance is a must!

Paradise Beach

This public beach spot shouldn't be overlooked. Whilst the private beach offers incredible beach clubs, the actual beach itself is a far better stretch of sand and palm trees, hence the name Paradise Beach. At this location you can find the infamous low palm tree that everyone uses to climb for that perfect picture.

Raw Love

Back to the private beach, inside the hotel Ahau, a small vegan restaurant is the ultimate escape. Walk down the winding sandy pathway and you'll find yourself in a tranquil area made up of hammocks and wooden seats. The food is delicious and better yet you achieve that perfect holiday feeling of being truly relaxed.
