Blueberries are one of the BEST super foods you can eat! And they are so yummy too! Valued for its high levels of antioxidants, some nutritionists believe that if you make only one change to your diet, it should be to add blueberries. They are also PACKED with vitamin C and have been proven to help combat high blood pressure!

Here are some yummy recipes to try using blueberries:

Blueberry Banana Smoothie
You need:
Blueberries (Frozen for best results)
Almond Milk
This recipe is super easy, just wizz everything up in the blender, adding more honey for sweetness, but just do it to your taste! You can experiment by adding different flavours such as Flax Seed or Spinach!
Top Tip: Freezing your fruit before blending will mean your smoothies will be nice and chilled!
Blueberry Protein Pancakes
You need:
3 egg whites
A scoop of protein powder (of your choice)
Blueberries (as many, to your taste)
1 Banana
A cup of oatmeal
Blend the oatmeal in a blender until it becomes a flour consitency. Add the banana, eggs and protein powder and blend some more. Mix in the blueberries using a spoon so they stay whole. Use two spoonfuls of the mixture per pancake and fry in a skillet.
Top Tip: These pancakes are very yummy with a drizzle of agave syrup!
We hope you love blueberries as much as we do after trying these recipes!
