Its Valentines Day tomorrow and we are all getting into the spirit of the occasion! We thought we would combine our love for traveling with this romantic holiday and find some of the most romantic destinations in the world!
If it is complete serenity and escapism you want then The Seychelles are the place to go. A tiny group of islands in the middle of the Indian Ocean boast gleaming white beaches and crystal clear water. If your not such a beach bum like us at A&M, there are huge cliff faces, mountains and rainforests to explore too!
The Greek Islands
Checking out a few different islands means you get to see more of a country, and there is nothing more romantic than going on an adventure with your other half! Greece is an amazing place, full of culture and some really beautiful islands. Santorini has recently became one of the most popular of the islands, with spectacular sea views and pristine white ancient buildings.
The Lake District
If you’re a bit of an adventurer and you don’t mind a little (a lot) rain, the Lake District is the perfect place for you! Rent a romantic little cottage in one of the remote villages and explore; you could go and climb Skiddaw or rent a boat on Lake Windermere.
Kauai is one of Hawaii’s least developed islands, so perfect if you want to get away for the hustle and bustle or real life! There are some great surf spots and loads of mountain trails if you want to explore, or you could chill out alone together in one the islands many natural waterfalls & lagoons.
St Moritz, Switzerland
This is a must for all alpine adventurers! St Moritz is a luxurious mountain town in Switzerland with access to some of the worlds best skiing, great fondue and heart stopping views. Couples can also take a sleigh ride around the frozen lake, there’s nothing more romantic!
Wherever you are this Valentines Day, we hope you have a ridiculously romantic day!
