Meditation is a great way of starting your day, especially on those awful Monday mornings! We all find ourselves being rushed and busy throughout the week but finding a few minutes in the morning (or even in the evening before bed) to sit down and have some quiet time to yourself, can do wonders for your body and mind.
It has been proven that meditation has helped people get over depression and has boosted their happiness levels. As well as this, it’s a great tool for de-stressing, decreasing anxiety levels and improving your immune function.
To put your mind and body in a complete state of relaxation is basically what meditation is all about. But there are loads of different methods and types of meditation out there; Tai Chi, Mantra, Yoga ect, If one doesn’t work for you, don’t give up, try another!
